This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Limited thunderstorm wind damage risk.
  Elevated lightning risk.
 Limited excessive rainfall risk.

DISCUSSION...

A few isolated strong to severe thunderstorms possible across
portions of southern Missouri this afternoon into the evening.
Primary hazards are hail up to the size of golf balls and damaging
wind gusts up to 60 mph. Localized heavy rainfall and flash
flooding may occur in flood prone areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Additional strong to severe thunderstorms possible on Thursday
afternoon through Thursday night. Primary risks include large hail
and damaging wind gusts. Additional low risk of a quick spin up
tornado.

Daily shower and thunderstorm chances continue through through the
weekend. This includes the potential for strong to severe
thunderstorms and localized flash flooding. The highest risk
occurs late Saturday into Sunday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed later this afternoon and evening
for portions of southern Missouri.
